With the summer heat rising there is only one thing for the town to do, go to the beach. The Anderson famiglia have graciously opened the beachy shores of their biggest lake for everyone to enjoy, for a small fee of course. With a truce agreed upon for the day everyone is happy to go; though it may be small it’s a good enough size for their event and the cool lapping waves of the lake are enticing under the blue summer skies.

Though the sun hasn’t been awake for long the sandy shores are heating up. Vendors are dotted around the edge ready for the day ahead; stalls selling everything summery from ice cream, shaved ice and cool drinks to more filling and delicious beach food. There is a small handful of deck chairs to relax by the lakeside and enough space to have some fun. An area for volleyball (and subsequent volleyball contest) has been created as well as a tiny stage for the bikini contest taking place later in the day. The weather is perfect and the water is refreshingly cool under the blaze of the summer sun.

A few people have already begun to dot around but there isn’t much of a crowd yet, it is sure to get a little busier as the day goes on.

It was a sight not many saw, Kyrie in attire that wasn't his usual dapper style. With a beach towel draped over his shoulders he strolled casually across the beach, his sandals tossing up sand with each step. Of course his attire was drawing the attention of all the females already perched on towels and lounge chairs.

A loose, white button down shirt exposing his slender but toned chest, Purple swim trunks with a white bamboo leaf print. On his head he donned a different style of hat, a straw fedora with a white ribbon encircling it. His hair still covering his one eye, sunglasses assisted in hiding both his orbs. Both his hands were occupied, one carrying a small tote and the other holding a bottle containing a beverage of some sort.

He came to a stop once he reached an area appealing to him; A white chaise lounge complete with a huge orange umbrella on the back to protect from the sun. While most strive to get a tan from the sun's rays, Kyrie preferred to keep his clear pale complexion safe. He even brought sunscreen with him to be extra sure he didn't get sun burnt.

Sitting down, he dropped his bag to the side of the chair and let his sandals fall to the ground before propping them up. He let out a sigh and sipped from the bottle. With more than enough time to swim, his eyes danced around the sights before him. Mostly towards the young ladies prancing around in the swimsuits.

There were few things that really showed Caramia's true nature. One of these few things was naps; as everyone knew, healthy male lions like himself love to simply lay in the sun, soaking up the warmth as they sleep. This still held true; usually the only sun he got was through a window in the living room, or in his office, when he took his small naps- which often ended with Kyrie doing something mean. But not today.

No today was the one day of the year when he could go lay down on warm sand and soak up in the warmth in peace. One of the very few days of pure bliss in the year. Nothing would ruin this. Well.

Unlike the past years, this time Caramia wasn't alone. As he walked on the beach, already looking pretty happy to be here, he held a tiny hand in his, making sure not to let go.

When they arrived to a perfect spot- far enough from the water for him to feel safe, yet close enough to see if his daughter was drowning if she ever tried to do something so silly (and he had a feeling she would, she was brave to the point of being dumb in his fatherly opinion). Setting down a large towel, he quickly removed his shirt to end in a simple bright orange short like swimsuit, looking at her.

"Alright Chiara you can play around a little, and if you want to go in the water you can ask Uncle Axel to take you, okay? Don't wander too far. If you see uncle Kyrie you can say hi but don't bother him too much, he's on his day off too."

He'd made sure to come prepared too, producing a very cool looking set to build sandcastle- complete with a bucket, a rake and a showel. Those were stuff kids liked right? So she'd stay busy while he could partake in his favorite activity. Tanning while taking a nap on the warm comfortable sand covered by a fluffy, soft towel. With a small wave toward his consigliere, to acknowledge he'd seen him, he simply let himself fall down in a comfortable position. This would be nice. Chiara would be nice. Kyrie would... hopefully not pay him any attention.

As he walked around the shade at the edge of the beach Axel realised he would definitely rather not be here right now. Even though he'd gotten assurance from the soldati that Oz territory would be thoroughly covered he still felt uncomfortable leaving it behind to guard somewhere else. Being this deep in enemy territory just didn't feel right to him, though as he glanced over to the ice cream stalls he couldn't deny that there was at least a little to be thankful for.

Since he was here for security he hadn't seen much point in dressing up for the event, but the boss demanded he wore something a little more suitable for swimming in case someone needed rescuing. It wasn't that Axel could swim especially well himself, his form being rather ungraceful, but he could probably wade in much deeper than the rest thanks to his height. Still, because of his boss' insistence that he might need to get into the water he had settled on a plain black pair of swimming trunks and a white shirt, his heart was still securely wrapped around him and tucked safely underneath the buttoned shirt. As he stood in the rising heat of the sun he was quite thankful he wasn't wearing his usual suit. He'd even resorted to unbuttoning a little of the top of his shirt, revealing a few of the scars on his chest. On his feet were some lighter shoes that were practical for the beach yet still comfortable to run in if needed. He wanted to wear socks with his ensemble to reduce the risk of blisters but others had firmly insisted that would be a terrible idea. Eventually it was more of a hassle to argue back and so he left his socks at home.

As others began to come to the lakeside his eyes made sure to scan the area frequently to check on anyone suspicious. If anyone who hadn't known he was here for security saw his large frame lurking near the shadows and scanning people with such intensity they would definitely assume he was suspicious himself.

Mr.Papa held her hand. She still had a hard time thinking of him as her father. He was still such a stranger to her. He was often busy with his work, so he didn't have a lot of time for her. Her mother had said he was a hero, protected his people all the time; though she never got to see any of the action.

She pulled on his arm. He was walking too slow! Chiara wanted to get to the beach! She wanted to build sand castles and go swimming and bury her dad in the sand. He wasn't working today. Hopefully, they'd get to spend a lot of time together!

As the arrived at the beach, her dad began to speak to her telling her if she wanted to go swimming to find Mr.Axel. Mr. Axel scared her a little, to be honest. He hardly ever talked to her and when he did it was very formal. She didn't know how to act around him. Maybe he didn't like children? Mr. Kyrie was much more personable, though her dad said not to bother him to much. She sighed. Maybe this wasn't going to be as fun as she hoped.

Her dad produced a bucket, rake, and shovel. She shrieked with joy and embraced him, thanking him profusely! It was exactly what she had wanted; it was like he knew! Chiara was filled with happiness as she grabbed sandcastle kit and ran towards the beach, passing Mr. Kyrie along the way.

Her dad did say she could say hello. She ran up to him excitedly. "Hello, Mr. Kyrie! I'm going to build a sandcastle! Did you want to come?"

It was too hot a day for his robes. Perhaps he hadn't thought this through enough. Robin arrived at the event in his usual attire. He hadn't planned on coming at all until a green haired girl told him she was going to start a fight, and there would be lots of casualties. Best to be there to treat the wounded she'd said. But after looking around, he could see she wasn't even here yet.

He sighed. It was odd for Gretel to approach him and even more strange for her to give him a heads up to her plans. He was certain she didn't care for him after the event, which suited him just fine. Because the fewer reminders he had of the Grimm family, the better. A while ago he had worried that Gretel was going to be a bad influence on Lilith, but perhaps he hadn't put enough faith in Lilith. It seemed as though she was a good influence on Gretel. Now if only she could get Gretel to stop fighting altogether. Then he'd have much more time to work on this cures.

For now, he needed to find somewhere with shade.

He nodded his head with a matching small wave to Caramia, acknowledging that he had seen him. Kyrie was casually sipping his cold beverage enjoying small bit of sun that was hitting his feet from under the huge umbrella. He was used to sounds of feet scampering past him during days like these. All the children of Oz making their way onto the beach to have fun in the sand and swim. His eyes still hidden behind sunglasses were just about to close when a familiar voice called out to him.

He lifted his sunglasses up and peered over next to him to see Chiara standing there holding a bucket, tools to play in the sand with and a big grin on her face. He returned her smile cheerfully and with a soft chuckle he pushed himself more upright.

"Good day to you Miss. Chiara, it looks like you have everything needed to have some enjoyable fun today." He raised his sunglasses up to his head and reached into the small bucket, lifting the tiny shovel up. "Did your Papa get this for you?"

Kyrie saw Axel doing his usual and expected routine of keeping an eye on everything. Axel would no doubt be busy keeping an on eye on all the other townsfolk especially with all the children present today. His gaze then fell upon the lazy lion who was now sprawled in his beach towel soaking up the sun.

Kuso baka lion...letting your guard down like that. He thought to himself.

A plan was formulating in his mind, he didn't expect to spend his entire day just lazing about. Kyrie wanted to have some fun today too, his kinda fun.

"Since your Papa is being quite lazy, how would you like Uncle Kyrie to give you some entertainment?" he asked.

Though arisu really hates water she decided to join the beach. Some people in town advised her to go there too it would be a good opportunity to meet new people ! Giving to her personality she hates both: water and meeting new people but for no reason she dragged herself out and entered the beach. It was really hot as expected way too hot . Not many people were at the beach but she still felt uncomfortable , not because she would be embarrassed about her body , that was the reasons her little sister hates to go to the beach, but being near to people mad her nervous. Before she could keep on thinking she already saw some familiar faces. Not far away sat caramia and chiara with a green haird man. Wondering if she should say hello she immediately denied that thought, they weren't close and she didn't want to interrupt them

Next to her father, Mr. Kyrie was the coolest guy in Oz! She'd heard a lot of people warn her that he was scary or kind of mean. But she didn't see it at all. He'd always been really nice to her.

She nodded as he asked if her father had gotten her the toy. She was excited that he's taken an interest, maybe she wouldn't have to play all by herself today. Her dad seemed more interested in relaxing than playing with her. He worked very hard, so she didn't want to disrupt that. Mr. Kyrie worked pretty hard too; it seemed everyone was working hard all the time. Chiara could help too. She wished she would show them. She had a lot of energy; most people couldn't keep up with her for long, especially adults.

'Since your Papa is being quite lazy, how would you like Uncle Kyrie to give you some entertainment?'

Uncle Kyrie. That made her giggle a little. Mr. Kyrie was the best other people just didn't see how awesome he was. "Absolutely!"

Rather hot summer days really are intriguing for a day like this, Alice tells herself as she steps on the beachy shore of this large lake. It’s probably one of the largest bodies of water she’s ever seen, not even Wonderland’s own large pond (which Alice swears is made from tears and not usual rainfall) can compare.

She holds a basket in her hands, her trusty steed in carrying about what she had wanted to accompany her into town, and for putting aside her other things. Snacks, a cover-up to cover up just in case, a towel, and her puppet friends the Tweedle-twins, who had insisted they join in. She only hopes they won’t wander off somewhere alone, because that thought would worry her somewhat terribly, only due to the trouble they may rope themselves into. Both of them donned summer style outfits, and all three of the Wonderland residents present – the Tweedles and Alice herself – are quite ready to socialize and learn.

The familiar faces upon the beach are not surprising, and Alice finds that she knows a few slightly better now than she had before. Maybe that’s because of previous day’s version of her and the self-conviction to find a swimsuit (the fruits of such shown as she sports such a cute little suit now), but the timely benefits of it stand.

She sets her basket down long enough to scoop Tweedledee and Tweedledum into her arms and rejoin said basket to her side. They deserve to see just as much as she does, and this way, they are all not alone. She does wish the others weren’t so busy being busy bodies to charge up and bring their minds and bodies to a social event which would benefit from that. “No matter, this place is curious enough as it is. So many are here and it feels quite inclusive… Don’t you think?” Perhaps she'd speak with others soon, but the matter of simply taking in what she can see first.

Gretel dragged Scarlet off with her to the beach. She didn't feel like carrying the large icebox filled with water balloons all by herself and she already worked out that Hansel would go on ahead. So instead, she convinced Scarlet to help her out; explaining that she had some fun planned, and he was going to take part for once. To begin, he would help her carry her cooler to the beach. So now she held one-half of the heavy box and he the other. The two of them moved it to exactly the spot she'd pick out a couple of days prior; when she and Hansel worked out their 'plan.'

Being with Scarlet probably didn't help with the rumors from the last event. But she should be less suspicious bringing in her enormous icebox with Scarlet. Hansel should have most of the rest of it set up by now. They'd decided to come separately because a fair amount of people assumed that if they were together, they were up to no good. And in this case it was true they were up to no good.

Holding a large beach umbrella in the other hand, Gretel shifted trying to cover herself a bit more. She was very uncomfortable with how much of her showed. Firstly the suit clung very well to her body showing off her figure; secondly, her arms and legs had no coverings what so ever. How anyone could be comfortable in such clothing was beyond her. If it was created for a function like to make swimming easier, then she'd rather drown or not swim at all.

She was starting to lose her confidence. Maybe Soh wouldn't like the suit; maybe it was too much? Gretel looked over at Scarlet. If she could trust anyone opinion, it was his. "Is this outfit really alright?" if it was too much, she still had time go back home. There was still that suit Dorian had pick out. But then would she have time to meet up with Soh?

After they set her stuff down Gretel set out a blanket and put up the umbrella. "I have a uh..." for some reason she was a bit embarrassed to tell Scarlet she was going to help Soh out again. She didn't want anyone she knew coming by and making things awkward for her. "A previous arrangement. Don't worry about watching the ice box. It's locked and I have the key. Go do something fun. I'll track you down when I need you later." and with that Gretel went off to help Soh.

Dorian's silky kimono cover up flapped in the breeze as he made his way across the beach. The light breeze coming off the lake was wonderful on such a warm and gorgeous day. He toyed with the idea of taking the cover up off altogether, but after almost making several girls die of blood loss (he assumed) at the swim shop, he went with his better judgement and left it on. He also didn't want to get in a fight with a jealous boyfriend that he couldn't charm his way out of, and with Manboy and Alfani enjoying their day off, he didn't have the strength that came with numbers - not to mention the lack of melee weapons.

He'd received a notice that he had been selected as the judge of the swimsuit competition, which was fine by him - it was one of the reasons he'd been so gung-ho to sponsor the swimsuits and try to keep every girl from showing up in a bikini. He wouldn't have complained about the show of skin - he would have complained about the lack of a challenge that stripping away the individualism brought to the contest. Besides, he was more than ready to give every one of the contestants a run for their money.

Hansel wiped sweat from his forehead as he pedaled his cart towards the beach. He'd tried to arrive before his sister and Scarlet, but his plans had been pushed back a couple of hours after he'd realized that Gretel had eaten half of the goodies he'd prepared for sale before they left. She hadn't woken him up, so they must have passed muster - and it's not like he couldn't make more. He'd chosen items he'd made a thousand times over, so it didn't take much time at all.

His little pedal-powered food cart, however, was his finest creation, gathering a bit of attention as he made his way towards the boardwalk. It was emblazoned with a shiny black and green Grimm famigilia apple logo that had taken days to paint (starting over because of 'accidental' explosions notwithstanding) and was stuffed to bursting with pastries filled with jam and sweet barbecued meat, little cakes and snacks that wouldn't melt in the heat, and a special cooler section with bottles of water and juice. He hoped to make a small fortune at the beach, as long as the weather and his supplies held out.

The only downside he found was the cumbersome umbrella he'd brought along so he didn't pass out in the heat. It unbalanced him if he held it into the wind like a lance and caught every stray breeze if he tried to have it tucked away in any other direction, threatening to send him flying.

He found a nice spot near the boardwalk with a great view of the swimsuit competition stage to set up his cart and was almost immediately surrounded by children clutching sandy coins and wet bills clamouring for snacks.

"All right, don't push - there's enough for everyone." Hansel offered the crowd a placating gesture as he mounted the umbrella and got everything quickly set up. "And, I have something special." He pulled out a little satchel of Grimm famiglia tokens and handed them out to the children who made a purchase. "Come back at sunset for a special prize, all right?"

Hansel smiled at the retreating backs of happy customers, looking up every once in a while to scan the beach for his sister and Scarlet.

Lilith's amber eyes squinted as she scanned the sandy shores of the lake. She was on a mission; to find Robin. Gretel had said he was indeed here, but the trick was picking him out of the crowd. Usually this wouldn't be such a task, but the bright sun made it more difficult.

Her eyes then settled on a dark blob in the distance. Maybe that's him? Well, that was the only dark blob at the beach currently; chances were in her favor here. Umbrella and bag in tow, she weaved among the crowd making sure to keep that blob in her sights. As she grew closer, her eyes were able to focus more as she reached the shade. She was relieved that the blob was in fact, Robin.

"There you are." She half panted, the heat was really something else today. Though she now noticed Robin's attire; his usual robes. What on earth was he thinking wearing that here? He was asking for heat stroke hiding under all those layers. He didn't seem to have anything to hydrate with either. Gretel was right, for a doctor he wasn't too smart; at least not in this instance.

Worried for his well being she puffed her cheeks a bit, annoyed at the foolish man. "Take that off right now.", she demanded as she pointed at his outfit. She wasn't one to be so demanding, but the sooner he got out of those hot clothes the better for him. "If you won't, then I will." She crossed her arms as she waited. She didn't want to cause a scene, but if he couldn't put his health before hiding his face, then she would have to save the doctor herself.

Arisu walked around searching a shady place. obviously she usually doesn´t go out often especially not dressed like that her white skin profes it. After a while she found a place to rest and sat down looking around. The beach got more and more crowded . some of the people were familar- well she didn´t know them personally but heared about them. The grim family: scarlet gretel and hansel. many warned her about the twins and their "plans" they usually end with a visit at sherwod clinic. seeing the big box scarlet and gretel are carring she got a bad feeling. but not as bad as she saw Dorian Gray she also heared several bad things about Oscar wild. sighing she huged her knees wondering what she was even doing here

i wanted to talk with some people

looking around again for someone to talk to her view fell on Dr. Robin and a girl discussing with him. though she couldn´t undestand what they were discussing about it probably was about his clothes. chuckling she tought to herself that it wasn´t so bad to came out here. but honestly if she will ever come back at this beach she definitely won´t wear a bikini but her usually clothes

He couldn’t convince himself to deny a family outing, despite the connotation being at a beach. It’s a day of neutrality, so it’s supposed to be a day of rest, right? Naturally, he’s worried about what Hansel and Gretel could have planned with this big cooler and its contents, but if Gretel insists that it’s fun… No, it’s hard to truly rest on a day like this, but Scarlet would try. He doesn’t have any concerns about what others think in terms of their relationship, because he has sorted everything out there.

So he helps her carry the heavy cooler along. Being naturally self-conscious about his appearance himself, he wears shorts and a simple button-up shirt, buttoned up almost completely. He has no intention of swimming. Keeping order and ensuring his family can have safe fun would be enough. He’d rather not have to deal with reparations on a day like this, but he doubts things will get that serious. He trusts Hansel and Gretel enough to know that it’s likely a series of pranks of something they have plotted, but nothing dangerous.

Admittedly Scarlet isn’t used to Gretel showing more skin than just a little, but she looks lovely today. Her health would be far safer too, because there’s less of a risk of overheating. He’s not good at these kinds of things, he really, really isn’t. Gretel does look nice though, and the swimsuit is all right, really.

“Yes, it looks fine, Gretel,” Scarlet says, honestly. He can tell she’s not the happiest with her current attire, but he really does want to assure that she’s okay.

It’s soon that they have the cooler set down carefully, and Scarlet nods at her. He isn’t sure what to do without her there, and with Hansel having yet to come into sight, he just finds himself even more lost. “I wouldn’t want to hold you up, Gretel. Be careful,” he says that by habit as he watches her go off. Sighing afterwards he looks down at the cooler and then to the blanket and umbrella. Quite frankly, he’s at a loss, but at least the cooler should be safe. Who could he talk to? Or maybe he could just sit still and relax on the blanket? It feels like a better idea than swimming would ever be, really.

Gretel stuffed the sunscreen into her satchel with a huff; she still had it with her as well as her bandolier. They'd both be helpful when it came time for the water balloons, and it made her feel a bit more comfortable to be wearing something she usually wore. If only she'd wore her hat or a hat at all; then Soh wouldn't have given her his and maybe she could have avoided Lilith teasing her. She should have just given it back right then, but she liked having it on her head. It was like he was still with her even though she had to leave him.

Lilith spotted the doctor and sped off ahead of her; threatening to strip him herself he didn't take the robes off himself. Gretel burst out into laughter. She wasn't keen on seeing him in his underwear but after Lilith's teasing watching someone else suffer was a welcome sight. She'd planned on giving him a hard time herself, but Lilith threatening to undress him was almost as good. "Wait! I'm going to need a snack and a good place to watch!" She pulled out a towel from her bag that she had on her in case she wanted to go in the water. She laid it out on the ground where she could see everything and grabbed a treat she'd placed in there. After making herself comfortable, she addressed them both. "Okay. I'm ready now; you may begin."

Robin was a bit perplexed. Was she demanding him to strip? He was a little warm in his robes, but he knew how to dress for the heat. He should be wearing lighter colors, to be fair. White would have been better, but it wasn't very him.

"Lilith, I appreciate your concern, but I'm afraid if I 'took this off' I might have to leave the beach. I don't have the appropriate swimwear on underneath. Although it may look like I'm hot, I assure you that by wearing these layers I am protecting my skin from the sun, and slowing the rate of evaporation of sweat from my body allowing me to stay cooler and hydrated longer." Though the day had been hotter than expected and robes were more for a dry heat, not a humid air by the beach. "Anyways, I'm afraid I've brought nothing to change into. If you want to help me, convince your friend there to cancel her plans so that I can go back to the clinic."

Although he was sure he'd be more comfortable in shorts like the rest of the beach goers, he'd wore nothing but his robes and mask for so long now that he felt naked in public without them. More than that, his skin hadn't been touched by the sun directly in a quiet a while. He was sure to burn right away if he put something else on. He could have admitted this to Lilith in private, but there was no way he was going to bring it up in front of Gretel. She sat there with a smug smile on her face watching the conversation between Lilith and himself. He sighed.

He stood up and walked over to Lilith pulling her closer towards him so that Gretel couldn't hear. "Is there any way we could have this conversation without an audience?" he said gesturing to the green haired girl on the towel with a nod of his head.

Her once annoyed face turned that of a surprised, flustered mess as the doctor pulled her close. It really caught her off guard after she had just demanded him to remove his attire.

"Is there any way we could have this conversation without an audience?"

Her thought swirled into a impure pool of mush, as those words left his mouth. Though he was protesting it so much earlier, he still was wanting to pull her away, alone. Gretel was enjoying the entertainment of the situation, but was that really reason enough to wander off alone together. Or was this an excuse for some summer time fun. Lilith's ever growing red face was proof of her dirty mind.

Shaking her head a bit she let her hand search into her bag for the swim trunks Gretel had advised her to get. As her hand found them, she pulled them out and shyly offered them to Robin.

"Here, these should be better than the robes." her eyes adverted to the ground as she still struggled with the indecent thoughts swirling in her mind.

Though a new thought slipped in her mind; Robin in swimwear. He had a gorgeous face, but his body was a mystery to her. Maybe it was just as good if not better?

Robin frowned; not that anyone could tell. He robes were scalding, and he already spent more than enough time overheating while he waited to Gretel to do whatever it was she had planned. Being so exposed was also a bit of a sore point for him, but didn't have the strength to argue. Though now he would have to find some sunscreen. With a loud sigh, he conceded the victory to her. "As you wish, Lilith. I know better than to argue with a lady," reluctantly he took the swim trunks from her and looked around for a place to change. His eye wandered over to some temporary changing booths that had been set up for the event. "Well then, I'll be right back I suppose."

He headed over to the rooms and entered the first empty one he came to. It was small and dark; there were no windows, and the only light that made it's way in was from the gaps between the door and frame. Lilith was right of course. He would be far more comfortable in this, and he wasn't hurting anyone but himself wearing his dark robes at the beach. Still, it left a bitter taste in his mouth to admit it. He took them off, folding them neatly and placing them in a pile in the corner. And changed into the suit Lilith had brought him. It was a nice suit. She had decent taste. It was evident that Gretel had nothing to do with picking it out or it would have looked awful, and entirely on purpose no doubt.

He looked down at his mask and physician bag. Unfortunately due to bringing first aid supplies his robes were not going to fit in there as well. He'd have to find a place for them, but the mask would at least fit; even that had become unbearable to wear in this heat.

Stepping out into the light was a bit of a shock from the darkness of the room. His robes and bag in one hand he squirted looking around to find Lilith. It was too bright, but luckily there was a stand not too far from selling hats and what not. He grabbed himself a cap with a neck flap and a pair of sunglasses. It was an acceptable trade off from his usual mask and two bottles of water. He was parched from sitting in those robes for so long.

Finally, he spotted them again; he strolled back over to Lilith with the second water bottle extended to her. "Do I pass?"

Kyrie gently dropped the shovel back into the pail and pushed himself up more. He swung his legs around and lowered down some so he was eye level with Chiara. He knew she was a bright child, intelligence she did not lack. He could easily spot that in everyone he met and this child, the don's offspring, was no exception. Regardless however, she was still a child....a child that had the same carefree desires that all her age had, to have fun. He so no harm whatsoever in utilizing this aspect of her to his own advantage.

He was about to speak when the sound of an engine caught his attention. Out on the water was a boat speeding through the waves with a long rope and harness attached to the back. It trailed up into the air and was connected to a man parasailing from the boat. The sail was bright colours matching a rainbow perfectly.

"Hmmm, how would you like Uncle Kyrie to take you closer to the water so we can observe the people parasailing Chiara?" he softly suggested to the child, extending his hand in the direction of the water.

What child wouldn't want to watch something bright, colourful and fun taking place? If nothing else, it could possibly help lure that stupid lion to the waters edge.

Her hold tightens around her dear puppet friends as she steps about the beach. The Tweedle-twins wanted to move about more so, and so did Alice, so adventure is at their wings! Well, at least in their hearts (which Alice and many of her fellow Wonderland residents would swear the puppets have). Agreed to have a battle… The battle they so choose upon is approaching others. It’s not difficult, but the Tweedles are quite so threatened by some they do not recognize, only so on occasion. Seeing a child in the distance, about the company of a familiar person, Alice decides to journey on over.

Just then flew down a monstrous crow…

“Now, now, quell the quarrel of this all, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, for we must do the task of being social,” she shakes her head, and confidential strides over closer to Kyrie and his small company. The sound of an engine in the distance catches her attention as well. Her voice, louder than previously, simply says, “Behave yourselves and look others in the eye. If we are to speak to others, then you needn’t fight with yourselves or me. I’d not want to drop you because you might just wander off into the water. You silly kids can’t swim! And no I’d not take a seat here! Our seat belongs over there, and we can sit when Time tells us we can use the moment of rest. Mister Kyrie and that not-so-familiar friend of his may as well be bothered but the ruckusy and messy scene you both are making.”

Regardless of how against the big, scary crow-master the Tweedles seemed to be, Alice finds herself quite nearer the pair, bowing. Even if they haven’t the time for her, she could always set the Tweedles back in her basket and go for a swim.

Gretel watched with smug satisfaction as Robin took the suit from Lilith and walked away. "I knew he'd take it if you were the one to give it to him," although she spoke with confidence, Gretel had half expected the plan to fail. She was looking forward to seeing him in something either than his black robes if only to make fun of him. She couldn't even remember the last time she'd seen his face.

As she was trying to recall what he looked like a brilliant idea popped into her head. "Hey Lilith, You know Robin doesn't get out much. You should keep him busy today, show him how to have fun," Gretel suggested as her trademark evil grin spread across her face. "Busy enough that he'll fall asleep. I think it would be fun to paint him later." She wasn't sure if Lilith would go in on that but it was in Gretel's nature to be this way. They'd still get him with a water balloon later regardless. "I should go check in on Hansel. I said I couldn't help because I thought I'd was be helping Soh, but I guess I have the time now." Gretel leaned in lowering her voice, glancing around cautiously to make sure now one was listening. "Hansel wants to do that thing at sunset. He's got an incredible plan to get things going."

Out of the corner of her eye, Gretel watched as an unfamiliar pasty man approached. It had been so long that she wasn't sure if that was Robin. She certainly had never seen that much of him before, though he did still have his face mostly covered with his sunglasses and hat. He approached Lilith with a water bottle held out to her as he asked if 'he passed."

"No! Your hat looks stupid," she said as she made a face and him. "And where's my water?"

Chiara followed Kyrie's hand as he gestured towards the beach but her eyes were quickly drawn to the rainbow colored sail in the sky. They widened at the beautiful sight and she let out a small cry of wonder.

When Mr. Kyrie suggested they move closer to the water to get a better view of the parasailer, Chiara nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, please!"

She wondered if she was big enough to participate as well because she really wanted to. Heights never bothered her. And not only that it looked like so much fun. Before moving into the Oz mansion, one could often find her climbing a tree or walking along the top of a fence; anywhere she could get a good view of the world around her. Heroes must always be vigilant after all! She would probably be able to see the whole town from there. Not to mention that she'd always wondered what it felt like to fly.

Chiara was just about to bolt for the water when she saw a girl approaching them. A young blond girl who appeared to be close in age to her. She hadn't been around anyone her age since she moved in with her dad and even though she seemed to be a bit older she was still the closest Chiara had seen in a while. The girl came up to the two of them, bowing in a polite greeting. She was saying hello! That meant she must be friendly with the Ozmafia... Which meant Chiara could be able to talk to her too!

She went to open her mouth when she remembered how formal the other girl had been. She straightened up and returned the other girls bow with one of her own. "Hello, Miss. We were just going to go down to the beach to watch the parasailers, would you like to join us? My name is Chiara, and you are?"

As the day wore on Axel scanned the beach more and more. People had begun to stream in here and there and he even recognised a few faces. Everyone seemed to have really dressed up for the event so he was a little glad he was wrangled into wearing what he was just now. Every now and then he noticed people glancing over to him but it meant little to him, he was just doing his job even if he did seem to just be lurking in the shadows. That said as the sun had risen and the air grew hotter the ice cream stand to the side was certainly looking even more appealing to him than before. It was too risky though. He was here on the job so he couldn't be seen stuffing his face with ice cream or any of the other delicious treats dotted around the area. It was too much for him to be faced with this temptation when he had a job to do, an even bigger frown than usual placed on his lips at the unsatisfying realisation.
